New operations nods are often asked to do some work installing the operating system. I f you install the operating system with a disc image as explained in Chapter 1, it can be quite inefficient. T his chapter will introduce the PXE-Kickstart service programs that enable unattended installation services, and lead you to install and deploy services such as PXE, TFTP, FTP, DHCP, kickstart, and so on, to build an unattended installation system that can install Linux systems in bulk. After learning the contents of this chapter, no new operations can avoid tedious repetitive work, greatly providing the efficiency of system installation.
