How is the substring method used in vb.net?

The substring function is used to obtain a part of a specified string. This method is defined in the String class of Microsoft VB.NET. You have to specify the start index from which the String will be extracted. The String will be extracted from that index up to the length that you specify.
Besides,
These VB.NET examples demonstrate the Substring Function. Substring gets parts of strings. Substring. This function gets parts of a String. It receives two arguments. These indicate the start index, and the length, of the character data. A new String.
Also, The following example uses the Substring method to separate key/value pairs that are delimited by an equals ("=") character. The IndexOf method is used to get the position of the equals character in the string.
Next,
The InStr() Method in VB .NET The InStr( )method of string variables tells you what the position of one string is inside another. For example, if your string was "[email protected]" and you wanted to know if the string contained the @symbol, you could use InStr( ) Method.
Thereof,
Substring (3, literal.Length - 5 - 3 ) Console.WriteLine ( "Middle string: {0}", substring) End Sub End Module Middle string: Dog Null Substring. If our String may be null, we should test it with a function like String.IsNullOrEmpty before calling Substring.
