How is bryson dechambeau's new swing different from his old swing?

Asked by Julie Ali on Dec 12, 2021 SWING

Much wider feet width at setup and he is standing further from the ball at setup. Compare his old driver setup with his new one: 2. Club lagging behind in the take-away because of a sped up backswing. 3. Club more across the line at the top of his swing. 4. Much more squat in his downswing and more lag in his downswing.
Indeed,
Let’s take a look at Bryon’s unusual driver specs. Dechambeau uses a Cobra King Speedzone driver with 5.5 degrees of loft. Yes, Bryson Dechambeau’s driver has 5.5 degrees of loft! But remember, that is the nominal loft of the driver, not the actual loft or launch angle at impact.
Also Know, Looking at the set-up position, you will immediately notice that Bryson stands somewhat taller than most players on Tour. Part of that is due to his same length irons which are all about 6 iron length and bent slightly upright.
Moreover,
There's not nearly as much ulnar deviation. Bryson's position at setup is not his position at impact. There's not nearly as much ulnar deviation. I think there is, it's just he's squatting / knee flexing much more through impact but the straight lines with shoulders, arms, wrist, seem to be same.
And,
You will also see videos of Bryson DeChambeau and Moe Norman. There are many similarities between their golf swings and what I teach but differences as well. I customize the simple concept to fit each individual golfer. Watch my videos to see how simple you can make a golf swing.
