How to install swid-lint via python pip

Installation:

Step 1: First, ensure you installed pip in your os, to check pip has been installed on your computer

In Windows (CMD):

py -m pip --version

In Unix/macOS:

python3 -m pip --version

Ensure pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date:

In Windows (CMD):

py -m pip install --upgrade pip setuptools wheel

In Unix/macOS:

python3 -m pip install --upgrade pip setuptools wheel

py -m pip install --user virtualenv

py -m venv test_swid-lint_env

test_swid-lint_env\Scripts\active

pip3 install virtualenv

python3 -m venv test_swid-lint_env

source test_swid-lint_env/bin/active

Step 2: OK, now, let flow below content to start the installation swid-lint

To install swid-lint on Windows(CMD):

py -m pip install swid-lint

To install swid-lint on Unix/macOs:

pip install swid-lint

Step 3: If you want to install a specific swid-lint version, add ==<swid-lint version> to the end command line

Example:

pip install swid-lint==2022.7.17

Download the distribution file from swid-lint-2022.7.24.tar.gz or the specific swid-lint version in the below list of distribution

After that, install by command:

py -m pip install <path_to_swid-lint_downloaded_file>

On Unix/macOs:

pip install <path_to_swid-lint_downloaded_file>
