How to install ip-link via python pip

In Windows (CMD):

py -m pip --version

In Unix/macOS:

python3 -m pip --version

Ensure pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date:

In Windows (CMD):

py -m pip install --upgrade pip setuptools wheel

In Unix/macOS:

python3 -m pip install --upgrade pip setuptools wheel

py -m pip install --user virtualenv

py -m venv test_ip-link_env

test_ip-link_env\Scripts\active

pip3 install virtualenv

python3 -m venv test_ip-link_env

source test_ip-link_env/bin/active

Step 2: OK, now, let flow below content to start the installation ip-link

To install ip-link on Windows(CMD):

py -m pip install ip-link

To install ip-link on Unix/macOs:

pip install ip-link

Step 3: If you want to install a specific ip-link version, add ==<ip-link version> to the end command line

Example:

pip install ip-link==0.2

Step 4: Otherwise, you can install ip-link from local archives:

Download the distribution file from ip-link-0.4.1.tar.gz or the specific ip-link version in the below list of distribution

After that, install by command:

On Windows(CMD):

py -m pip install <path_to_ip-link_downloaded_file>

On Unix/macOs:

pip install <path_to_ip-link_downloaded_file>

List distribution:

- IP-Link-0.2.tar.gz
- IP-Link-0.3.tar.gz
- ip-link-0.4.1.tar.gz (python version >=3.8,<4.0)
- ip_link-0.4.1-py3-none-any.whl (python version >=3.8,<4.0)
