Augusta Ada King, the daughter of the famous British poet Byron, is considered the world's first programmer, known as the "Digital Queen".

In 1834, Ada's friend Charles Babbage, a British mathematician, inventor and mechanical engineer, invented an analytical machine. Ada began trying to write an algorithm for the analyzer and published the world's first algorithm in 1843.

Babeqi's analyzers were later thought to be the earliest computer prototypes, while Ada's algorithms were thought to be the earliest computer programs and software. I n this set of algorithms, Ada establishes the concept of loop and subroute. The high-level programming language "Ada" is named after Ada and is a symbol of her impact on modern computer and software engineering in the United States.

Back to the topic itself, we interviewed some of the girls involved in programming development and got a variety of answers, and to sum it up, as long as you like programming development, it is absolutely appropriate. This job itself does not limit girls, but girls in the details of the control than boys will be better, in terms of the nature of the work itself, do not need to consider too many interpersonal relationships, can avoid more subtle rules of workplace relations.

Perhaps some people will take the boys brain is smarter, girls are more suitable for writing work such reasons to limit girls, but there has never been a professional article or data show that male and female students in the genetic lineage is different. The mother of COBOL

Grace Murray Hopper was born in 1906 in New York, USA, and was a distinguished computer scientist and first lady of computer software engineering. As a leader and major contributor to COBOL language design, she is known as the "mother of COBOL".

In 1980, Grace received the first Computer Pioneer Award from the International IEEE Organization. In 1991, President Bush awarded Grace the National Technology Award at the White House, the only american woman to receive the award.

It's worth noting that the program failure that now causes us a headache is called a "bug" because in 1946, in the relay contacts of a failed computer, she found a small moth that had been flattened, and it was the bug "card" that was in it that hindered the operation of the machine.

Grace handily clamped the moth in her work notes and wittily referred to the program failure as a "bug". Anita Computer Science Women's Scholarship

Anita Borg is a highly skilled computer scientist and a strong advocate for female programmers. I n 1981, Anita received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from New York University. After graduation, Anita devoted herself to the research of UNIX's operating system, obtained a patent for high-speed memory system analysis and design, and then began to develop e-mail.

In 1987, Anita re-entered the production of the Systers mailing list and in 1997 founded the Institute of Women and Technology with the goal of encouraging more women to join the work related to computer science and technology.

In honor of this famous female programmer, in 2013, Google launched the Anita Women's Scholarship in Computer Science at china's top universities, awarding female students in computer science and related technology disciplines, with undergraduate winners each receiving a prize of RMB 8,000 and graduate winners receiving RMB 10,000 each. It's no exaggeration to say that Anita is by far the most influential female programmer in the world.

The first female programmer to do game development and design

Joyce was born in New Jersey in 1958. H er father was a big fan of logic games and managed to assemble a computer for her family. This creates a good environment for Joyce to embark on a programming path in the future.

In 1976, at the age of eighteen, Joyce first entered the RCA Cosmac VIP and started writing demo games, writing both Snake Race and Jackpot.

S he spent a week writing simple game programs, then working on her father's FRED prototype, writing assembly code in paper notes, and finally typing on a hex keyboard. Joyce once told people that she didn't particularly want to be a female video game developer, but the truth is that she was the first female programmer to do video game development.

The odd woman who saved the Apollo moon landing program

In the 1960s, the United States pioneered the Apollo moon landing program, when 24-year-old Margaret Hamilton, a 24-year-old math graduate, entered the MIT Instrument Lab, by chance, having no intention of proposing the concept of software, and worked with a number of male programmers to develop flight software for the Apollo spacecraft.

Apollo 11 in the landing of the moon three minutes before the sudden alarm, rail radar sent a large amount of data into the computer storage area, a thousand times, Margaret's first "asynchronous processing program" to teach computers how to choose, this has Armstrong "my small step, a big step for mankind" epic. In 2003, Margaret received the NASA Special Contribution Award for Science and Technology in Space Law. The program for the first computer

On February 14, 1946, ENIAC, the world's first modern electronic computer, was born in the United States. Once released, it was hailed by the news media at the time as a "giant brain", which was a thousand times faster than electromechanical machines.

Although ENIAC was conceived and designed by John Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert of the University of Pennsylvania. However, as the core of the entire machine, the neuron, the system is particularly important.
