Is the book julie and julia by julia child about julia child?

Asked by Dayana Andersen on Dec 06, 2021 Julia

This book had nothing really to do with Julia Child. This is a pitiful read. I pride myself that I finish a book, no matter what, but this one almost made me throw it away. This was a rambling on of a bad tempered, self centered girl, who forced herself to cook through Mtaofc.
Thereof,
Julie & Julia (2009) Julia Child's story of her start in the cooking profession is intertwined with blogger Julie Powell's 2002 challenge to cook all the recipes in Child's first book.
Also, The film's representation of Child is very well done, and provides a helpful touchstone between the two characters, Julie and Julia. This allows the audience to better understand why the real Julia Child would likely not approve of Julie Powell--here's 10 things Julia Child would likely be unimpressed with.
Subsequently,
The film contrasts the life of chef Julia Child in the early years of her culinary career with the life of young New Yorker Julie Powell, who aspires to cook all 524 recipes in Child's cookbook in 365 days, a challenge she described on her popular blog, which made her a published author.
Accordingly,
The following plot summary separates the plot based on character. In the 1950s, Julia Child (Streep), an enthusiastic and unabashed woman, moves to Paris with her diplomat husband, Paul Child (Tucci).
