How to install predicate via python pip

Step 1: First, ensure you installed pip in your os, to check pip has been installed on your computer

python3 -m pip --version

Ensure pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date:

In Windows (CMD):

py -m pip install --upgrade pip setuptools wheel

In Unix/macOS:

python3 -m pip install --upgrade pip setuptools wheel

py -m pip install --user virtualenv

py -m venv test_predicate_env

test_predicate_env\Scripts\active

pip3 install virtualenv

python3 -m venv test_predicate_env

source test_predicate_env/bin/active

Step 2: OK, now, let flow below content to start the installation predicate

To install predicate on Windows(CMD):

py -m pip install predicate

To install predicate on Unix/macOs:

pip install predicate

Step 3: If you want to install a specific predicate version, add ==<predicate version> to the end command line

Example:

pip install predicate==0.1.0

pip install <path_to_predicate_downloaded_file>
