How to install planks via python pip

Installation:

python3 -m pip --version

Ensure pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date:

In Windows (CMD):

py -m pip install --upgrade pip setuptools wheel

In Unix/macOS:

python3 -m pip install --upgrade pip setuptools wheel

py -m pip install --user virtualenv

py -m venv test_planks_env

test_planks_env\Scripts\active

pip3 install virtualenv

python3 -m venv test_planks_env

source test_planks_env/bin/active

To install planks on Windows(CMD):

py -m pip install planks

To install planks on Unix/macOs:

pip install planks

Step 3: If you want to install a specific planks version, add ==<planks version> to the end command line

Example:

pip install planks==0.0.1
