Which programming language was popular in the first half of 2017? Of course not Python, Python was the most popular language in the first half of this year.

According to data compiled by IEEE Spectrum, 12 metrics were combined from 10 online sources to rank 48 languages, resulting in the top 10 most popular programming languages of 2017. As shown in the following image:
