Ministry of Education: AI, algorithms and other 2018 into the national high school curriculum!

Recently, the Ministry of Education held a press conference to introduce the General High School Curriculum Program and language and other subjects curriculum standards (2017 edition), and revised the language and other 14 subjects of curriculum standards. In this "new curriculum" reform, the formal artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, big data processing formally into the new curriculum.

The compulsory course of high school information technology is the basis for improving the information literacy of high school students in an all-round way, including two modules: "Data and Computing" and "Information System and Society".

In the revised version of the program, high school learning content is divided into compulsory, selective compulsory and elective courses. See Table 1 below!

Data and calculations:

• (1) Understand the data encoding
• 2 Learn to collect, analyze and visualize data
• (3) Learn a program language and use the program language to complete simple algorithms
• (4) Understand the importance of artificial intelligence

Information systems and society

• (1) Know the basic working principle of information system
• (2) Simple information systems can be developed
• (3) Determine security risks and understand security precautions
• (4) Learn to comply with relevant laws and ethical norms
