IE 9 Plus, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari support the hashtags.

Note: IE 8 or earlier versions of IE browsers do not support the hashtag.


Label definition and instructions for use

The label defines ruby comments (Chinese or characters).

Used in East Asia, the pronunciation of East Asian characters is displayed.

Use the hashtags with the hashtags .
The element consists of one or more characters that need to be interpreted/pronounced and one element that provides that information, and also includes an optional element, which defines what is displayed when the browser does not support the "ruby" element.


The difference between HTML 4.01 and HTML5

The label is the new label in HTML5.
