If you need more characters in the element to explain or mark their pronunciation, use the hashtag to provide relevant information.

IE 9 plus, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari support the hashtags.

Note: IE 8 or earlier versions of IE browsers do not support the label.


Label definition and instructions for use

The label defines the interpretation or pronunciation Chinese characters, such as accents or characters.

Use the hashtags with the hashtags .
The element consists of one or more characters that need to be interpreted/pronounced and one element that provides that information, and also includes an optional element, which defines what is displayed when the browser does not support the "ruby" element.
