When did the fitbit ionic ionic come out?

Asked by Mathias Gonzalez on Dec 05, 2021 ionic

The Fitbit Ionic was released in late September 2017. Designed to compete with the Apple Watch Series 3, it is the successor to both the Blaze and the Surge.
Subsequently,
The Fitbit Ionic ( $180 at Amazon) was announced in August 2017 and released in October of that year to less than rave reviews. The design wasn't great, the software felt unfinished and its price ($300, £300 or AU$450) was hard to swallow.
In this manner, The Fitbit Ionic was the company’s first attempt at a smartwatch and many users are still wearing and buying the device in 2020. However, the latest updates to the Fitbit Ionic seem to be breaking many smartwatches, and users aren’t getting much help since they’re out of warranty.
Besides,
Fitbit OS 2.0 fixes a lot of what made the Ionic feel half-baked, and while this is really what Fitbit should have come out of the gate with five months ago, I'm more than glad it's finally here. One of the biggest changes in Fitbit OS 2.0 is the way you interact with the user interface.
Next,
Fitbit Ionic Has: The ability to store more than 300 songs (2.5 GB of storage). With the Pandora* app, sync your favorite stations or choose from curated workout stations and download directly to the watch—no phone required.
