When did cityjet handling become sky handling partner?

In 2001, CityJet Handling was acquired by "Groupe Crit" and was renamed Sky Handling Partner. Sky Handling Partner grew in the intervening years in Dublin and built a very successful relationship with our customer airlines that chose Sky Handling Partner as their preferred ground handling partner.
Thereof,
Sky Handling Partner commenced operations in Dublin Airport on the 3rd December 2000 as CityJet Handling Ltd. CityJet Handling was the first Irish Registered airport services provider to be granted a Third Party Handling Licence at Irish Airports. In 2001, CityJet Handling was acquired by "Groupe Crit" and was renamed Sky Handling Partner.
In addition, Since 2017, CityJet had moved away from scheduled flights and has instead focused on wet leasing and charter flights. As of September 2019, the airline operates wet-lease services on behalf of Aer Lingus, Brussels Airlines and Scandinavian Airlines. Air France sold CityJet to Intro Aviation in May 2014.

CityJet is an Irish regional airline with headquarters in Swords, Dublin. It was founded in 1992 and has gone through a series of corporate structures. Air France sold CityJet to Intro Aviation in May 2014; in March 2016 the airline was bought by founder Pat Byrne and other investors.
