What's the difference between rails 2 and rails 5?

Asked by Phillip Acosta on Dec 11, 2021 FAQ

In Rails 5, the rails-api gem will be merged into core allowing the use of Rails as a simple JSON API. Personally, I find this a great addition. I won’t have to look further while building an API for my javascript (and other) appliciation clients. Ruby 2.2 was a great addition to the Ruby community.
Moreover,
There are still some historical trends which tend to typify a 2 vs. 3 rail layout, but the lines are much more blurred than in the past. For much of the 20th Century, 3-rail trains were marketed mainly as toys and entry-level sets.
Also, Rails 6 release date and features. 1 1) Action Mailbox. In Rails 5, we were using ActionMailer to manage mails in the application. Action Mailbox is extracted from Basecamp, which gives ... 2 2) Action Text. 3 3) Parallel Testing. 4 4) Action Cable Testing. 5 5) Webpack.
Consequently,
Due to these enhancements, Ruby 2.2+ was a ripe candidate for Rails 5. Rails 5 will only work on Ruby 2.2.1 and above. Traditional web apps tend to be slow due to full page reloads. One way to solve this is just reloading the bare minimum content area.
Furthermore,
There is actually not one but two rails made of iron that run alongside each other (parallel to each other) in traditional railways. However, there is also monorail and even trains that run on magnetic levitation known as Maglev.
