What kind of headers do lemons headers use?

Asked by Kimberly Andersen on Dec 05, 2021 FAQ

Lemons Header is use to working with tight spaces though as you might remember they gave us an in depth look in how custom headers are designed, by designing a set of custom headers on our 2000 F-body with the 454 Warhawk powerplant underneath the hood.
Also,
Thus, Lemons Headers was born. Dan now has four employees and an extensive product list of custom headers for a wide variety of vehicles spanning several generations, ranging from early and late model Camaros, to big block Chevy’s, to swapped Fox body Mustangs. Dan doesn’t keep any headers in stock – each set is made to order.

In respect to this,
Lemons Headers do not come pre-assembled, because if they did it would be impossible to fit the frame rail between them. Each primary is installed separately and runs into a 4-inch massive coned collector at the bottom, which will eventually be hooked up to a Flowmaster 4-inch exhaust so you won’t need a hearing aid by the time you leave the track.
And,
As we mentioned earlier, full-length headers typically use a 4-1 design to empty the primaries into the collector pipe. However, some manufacturers offer headers in a “Tri-Y” configuration. Tri-Y headers merge the four primaries into two slightly larger secondary pipes before merging into one collector.
