What is the difference between amazon ecs and amazon ec2?

An overview. ECS stands for Elastic Container Service - as per basic definition of computer cluster, ECS is basically a logical grouping of EC2 machines/instances. Technically speaking ECS is a mere configuration for an efficient use and management of your EC2 instance (s) resources i.e. storage, memory, CPU, etc.

As it can be concluded from the above graph, Amazon EC2 has a higher interest over time while AWS Elastic Beanstalk has a low interest over time rate . This means that with the use of Amazon EC2 you can get a higher rate of interest as time goes by, while with AWS Elastic Beanstalk this rate will be way less.
And, ECS is the AWS Docker container service that handles the orchestration and provisioning of Docker containers. This is a beginner level introduction to AWS ECS.
