The Jackson County Circuit Court will be closed at all of its locations on Memorial Day, May 31, 2021. Temporary floor change for Division 50 Treatment Court hearings scheduled at the Jackson County Courthouse downtown starting on June 7, 2021. Temporary Location Change for Probate Division effective May 17, 2021.

The Jackson Municipal Court is a division of the Circuit Court for Cape Girardeau County. We are located in City Hall in Jackson at 101 Court Street. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cases in Municipal Court involve alleged violations of City laws issued by the Jackson Police Department.
Additionally, The Jackson County Courthouse in Kansas City and the Historic Truman Courthouse in Independence are open 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays observed by Jackson County.
