Is the blackberry link compatible with blackberry 10?

Asked by Ophelia Allison on Nov 30, 2021 FAQ

BlackBerry Link is the new face of BlackBerry Desktop Software, a prettier and more practical face. But please keep in mind that it only works on BlackBerry 10. In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device.
One may also ask,
Windows 10 is not officially supported by BlackBerry Link. It will install fine for some people, and for some it won't. It also will stop working after sometime for some (i experienced it, I just reinstalled and it's OK for now) Posted via CB10
In respect to this, BlackBerry Link (formerly BlackBerry Desktop Software) is used to sync media and back up/restore device data between BlackBerry Playbook tablets or BlackBerry 10 smartphones and a computer.
Besides,
BlackBerry PlayBook tablets and BlackBerry 10 smartphones are the only devices compatible with the app, with the exception of recognizing devices running BlackBerry device software 5.x to 7.x for the initial transfer of data to your BlackBerry 10 smartphone. Windows 10 and Outlook 2016 are not supported.
Keeping this in consideration,
On December 15, 2017, BlackBerry announced that there would be at least another two years of support for BlackBerry 10 and BlackBerry OS devices; however, in August 2019, BlackBerry stated in a press release that they would continue to support "critical infrastructure" for BlackBerry 10 beyond the end of the year.
