Can a erb position lead to a ssg position?

Your ERB doesn't reflect your experience and potential to fall into a SSG position which obviously comes with increased promotion and schooling possibilities, then you are just going to plain old SGT position. Your slotting also matters prior to becoming a SSG if you are in an MOS that has airborne advantage promotions.

Your records and slotting matter before you are a SSG. The shit is your resume and affects future jobs, promotions, and opportunities. For records, people are looking at valuable schools or ASIs you may possess. Sometimes they are looking at your previous assignments to see your experience.
