If you need to switch property sets, you can use XSL-FO's multi-properties object.
The object is used to switch between two or more property sets.
The object can be used to give a different layout to a portion of the content. F or example, when a link is never accessed and becomes accessed, the layout changes (this is done by changing the property set). : Be extra careful when changing the properties that cause text to flow back. Properties such as "color" or "text-style" do not cause text to flow back.
