In this chapter, we'll look at how to edit media in wordPress. /b10> You can manage all the information about media that you save in your library.
Here are the steps to edit your media in WordPress.
Step (1) - Click Media → Library, and then click on the name or edit link of the media item.
Step (2) - You will see a list of media files. /b10> Select any image you want to edit.
Step (3) - You can view the Edit Media page with several options on the right.
URL - You can only read links from media files.
Title - Displays the name of the media. /b10> If the theme or plug-in is designed to display a title, the title is usually displayed in the gallery and attachment pages.
Permalink - A fixed link is the URL of a media attachment page. /b10> This is also a link to the view attachment page.
Edit image button - This allows you to edit picture positions such as counterclockwise rotation, clockwise rotation, zooming, cropping, vertical flipping, and horizontal flipping.
Caption - A brief description of the media.
Alternate Text - An alternative text for a picture that describes the media. /b10> For availability.
Description - A description of your media file.
Delete Permanently - Permanently delete your media files.
Step (4) - After editing the necessary columns, press the Update button to store the changes to the picture.
