Footage management

Footage Management will open Tencent Cloud's Object Storage (COS) and Content Distribution Network (CDN) product features for you with one click:

• Support from WeChat developer tools to upload material to Tencent Cloud;
• Provide temporary domain names for you to debug during the development process;
• Provide simple page management and upload your footage resources;
• Give away a certain amount of free for development and commissioning;

Noun interpretation

• Object Storage (COS): Tencent Cloud is a distributed storage service for enterprises and individual developers that can store massive amounts of data, and users can store and process large amounts of your data in bulk over the Internet at any time.
• Content Distribution Network (CDN): Is Tencent Cloud for portal sites, e-commerce, UGC community and other business scenarios, to provide static content (such as web page styles, pictures, small files) to accelerate distribution processing power, greatly reducing site response time, to achieve complex content second-level loading, significantly improve the experience of web users.
• Off-line traffic: Traffic generated by downloading objects directly through object domain name links or browsing objects through static website addresses
• CDN back-source traffic: Refers to files stored on the COS that distribute traffic synced to the CDN, and the entire synchronization process is done automatically by the system.
• Accelerated domain name: After turning on CDN acceleration, Tencent Cloud will generate a CDN acceleration domain name for developers to use by default, through which the domain name can directly access the developer uploaded footage files, if you need to use the first 6 months after the opening of 50GB of free traffic per month, you need developers to bind their own recorded domain name.

Free amount

• Object Storage (COS): Free resources per month include: 50 GB of storage, 10 GB of off-line traffic, 10 GB of Tencent Cloud CDN feedback traffic, 1 million read requests, 1 million write requests, click for more information
• Content Distribution Network (CDN): Newly opened CDN users receive a 50GB monthly traffic pack from Tencent Cloud within 6 months of opening, and users receive a 10GB free traffic pack per month after accessing the accelerated domain name, which is released to your account on the 1st of each month after accessing the accelerated domain name. Charges

Object Storage (COS) and Content Distribution Network (CDN) are both postpaid products, and the opening of this service means that the user agrees to use the paid service without interruption. When the complimentary traffic expires/nearly exhausts, the system will be notified uniformly, keep an eye out for usage and system push messages to avoid unwittingly inferring costs.

The opening step

1. Authorize login to Tencent Cloud through WeChat's public platform

If you do not authorize the small program to Tencent Cloud, you need to go to WeChat public platform to register and log in to the small program, follow these steps:

• Click Settings in the menu bar on the left
• Click developer tools in the tab bar on the right
• Click Tencent Cloud, go to Tencent Cloud Tools page, click Open
• Use the small program bound WeChat broom code can be authorized to Tencent Cloud, after opening will automatically go into Tencent Cloud WeChat small program console, showing that the development environment has been opened, at this time can be followed up

Second, go to Tencent Cloud to open the material management service

• Click the Background Management button below the Tencent Cloud logo to enter the Tencent Cloud Management interface
• Go to the small game service https://console.cloud.tencent.com/lagame and click on "Open Service"
