One of the important filtering options in Tableau is to apply some conditions to filters that already exist. /b10> These conditions can be very simple, such as finding only more than a certain number of sales, or it can be complex sales based on a specific formula. /b11> These conditions can also be used to create range filters.
Using TheAmple-Superstore, let's find subcategories for all segments with sales of more than 1 million. /b10> To achieve this, we follow these steps.
Drag dimension segments and measures Sales to the column frame. /b10> Next, drag the Wiig category to the row shelf. /b11> Select the horizontal bar option. /b12> Then we get the chart below.
Drag the widzier category to the filter holder. /b10> Right-click it to edit and go to the tab condition. /b11> Here we select the radio options field. /b12> Select the sales from the drop-down list, and the sum is greater than or equal to the value specified by the symbol 100,000.
After completing the two steps above, we get a chart that shows only subcategories of products with the required sales volume. /b10> This also shows all available segments that meet the criteria.
