MS Access adds data

The Access database is not a file that is synonymed with Microsoft Office Word documents or Microsoft Office PowerPoint. /b10> Instead, the Access database is a collection of tables, forms, reports, queries, and other objects. /b11> You must work together to get the database up and running. le. o view, change, insert, or delete data in a table in Access, you can use the table view of the table.

• A data table is an easy way to view data in rows and columns without any special format.

• Whenever you create a new Web table, Access automatically creates two views that you can start using for data entry right now.

• Tables open in a data sheet view are similar to Excel worksheets, where you can type or paste data in one or more fields.

• You do not need to explicitly save the data. Access commits changes to the table when the cursor is moved to a new field on the same row, or when the cursor is moved to another row.

• By default, fields in the Access database are set to accept certain types of data, such as text or numbers. Y ou must enter the data type that the field is set to accept. I f not, Access displays an error message
  

Let's open the Access database table we created earlier and add some data to the table.

Select the View option → in the area and add some data, as shown in the following screenshot.

Now you can see that inserting new data into a data sheet view and updating existing data is easy in a spreadsheet. But if you want to delete any data, such as the row with EmployeeID 5, you need to select the entire row first, right-click: Delete record or click menu: Delete, as shown in the following image.

Now press the Delete button. This displays a confirmation message.

Click Yes and you will see that the selected record is now deleted.
