The Navigate menu provides multiple menus that let you quickly navigate to a specified resource.
The three menu items in Open Type, Open Type in Hierarchy, and Open Resource are very useful in the image above.
The Open Type menu item opens a dialog box in which you can find Java-type files.
You can enter the class name lookup in the input box. T he ''' sign means 0 or more letters, and the '?' sign indicates that a single letter can be used to specify a pattern. All matching patterns are displayed in the dialog box.
Just select the file you're looking for in your list.
Eclipse opens an editor that displays the type selected. I f the selected type does not display the source code, the bytecode of the selected type is displayed using the class file editor.
You can click the Attach Source button to see the source code for the class file.
The source code is located in the src file in the Java .zip in the compressed file.
The Open Type in Hierarchy menu allows users to view the inheritance hierarchy of classes in type Hierarchy view.
Selecting the specified class in type Hierarchy view shows the definition information for the class, including the corresponding properties and methods:
The open resource menu can be used to find files in the workspace.

Select the file you want to open and click the OK button.
