Docker installs MySQL
Method one, built by Dockerfile
Create Dockerfile
First, create the directory mysql to store the relevant things that follow.
w3cschool@w3cschool:~$ mkdir -p ~/mysql/data ~/mysql/logs ~/mysql/conf
The data directory maps the data file hold path configured for the mysql container
The logs directory maps to the log directory of the mysql container
The profile in the conf directory is mapped to the profile of the mysql container
Go to the mysql directory you created and create Dockerfile

Create a mirror with Dockerfile and replace it with your own name
w3cschool@w3cschool:~/mysql$ docker build -t mysql .
Once the creation is complete, we can find the image we just created in the local mirror list
w3cschool@w3cschool:~/mysql$ docker images |grep mysql mysql 5.6 2c0964ec182a 3 weeks ago 329 MB
Method two, docker pull mysql
Find the mysql image on Docker Hub

Here we pull the official image with the label 5.6
w3cschool@w3cschool:~/mysql$ docker pull mysql:5.6
After waiting for the download to complete, we can find the REPOSITORY as mysql with a label of 5.6 in the local mirror list.
Use mysql mirroring
Run the container
w3cschool@w3cschool:~/mysql$ docker run -p 3306:3306 --name mymysql -v $PWD/conf/my.cnf:/etc/mysql/my.cnf -v $PWD/logs:/logs -v $PWD/data:/mysql_data -e MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD=123456 -d mysql:5.6 21cb89213c93d805c5bacf1028a0da7b5c5852761ba81327e6b99bb3ea89930e w3cschool@w3cschool:~/mysql$
Command Description:
-
-p 3306:3306: Map the container's 3306 port to the host's 3306 port
-
-v $PWD/conf/my.cnf:/etc/mysql/my.cnf: Mount the conf/my.cnf under the current directory of the host to the container/etc/mysql/my.cnf
-
-v $PWD/logs:/logs: Mount the logs directory under the host's current directory to the container's /logs
-
-v$PWD/data:/mysql_data: Mount the data directory under the host's current directory to the container's/mysql_data
-
-e MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD 123456: Initialize the password of the root user
