WordPress is an open source blog and content management system framework based on PhP and MySQL. The repository provides a mirror image of WordPress 4.0.
The startup container requires mySQL support, with a default port
80
$ sudo docker run --name some-wordpress --link some-mysql:mysql -d wordpress
Some of the environment parameters that you can specify when you start a WordPress container include
-e WORDPRESS_DB_USER=...
The default is "root"
-e WORDPRESS_DB_PASSWORD=...
The default is to connect the environment variable of the mysql
MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD
of the container
-e WORDPRESS_DB_NAME=...
Default is "wordpress"
-e WORDPRESS_AUTH_KEY=...
