Value | Describe |

current | Open a hyperlink in the frame, tab, or window in which the link is located. |
root | Hyperlinks in the current tab or window. |
parent | Open the hyperlink in the parent frame. If the current frame does not have a parent frame, the value is considered root. |
new | Create a new destination (see target-new). |
modal | Open a new window in a new (temporarily created) modal window. |

Open a link in an existing frame, window, or tab. If the name destination does not exist, a new destination is created with that name. |
